Spring:
Welcome spring with us – under the arbour of old and new town with spring offers of the shops, with freshly pressed white wine of the Eisacktal and macchiato cremissimo in the bars and cafés – in the high valleys of Ridnaun and Pfitsch between lush crocus meadows and the last remaining of the white winter splendour – under the blooming trees of the nearby apple high plateau of Natz/Schabs or amidst the spring blossom in the evergreen paradise of the gardens of castle Trauttmannsdorf at Meran, that you can reach within one hour driving time.
Summer:
Explore the alpine mountain summer and get to know the pristine world of the mountain farmers who have moulded this country over centuries. The most beautiful peaks of the Zillertaler and Stubaier Alps welcome you from the distance and will captivate you. Natural settings of the special kind await you: rapid waterfalls, mere fathomless canyons, cool woods and illustrious mountain peaks. The mountain pastures in the vicinity whisk you away into a world where nature and people still live in harmony to the greatest possible extent: manual produced butter, cheese and fresh, still warm cow milk will boost you before you continue your way over the ridge and down to the valley accompanied by bleating flocks of sheep and smirking marmots.
Autumn:
Enjoy the season of “Törggelen” in the Eisacktal with fresh whine, grapes and chestnuts as well as the fresh slaughter products of the farmers. At “Törggelen” culinary traditions and old customs and the special way of life in the valley conflate to an experience for mind and wits. Cheerfulness, down-to-earthness and gratefulness are celebrated and open a window into the real local living environment.
Hustle and bustle prevail the arcades of Sterzing. The town brims over with vitality once more. And at the same time nature glares in its most beautiful colours before it retires: in the coniferous forests of the high valleys of Pfitsch, Ratschings, Pflersch and Ridnaun, in the chestnut groves in the nearby basin of Brixen, in the unique nature of the Etschtal valley. You are invited to the lavish farewell party before the quietude of winter!
Winter:
The cold season shows the variety of this vacation area once more in a very impressive way: the high-capacity skiing area of Ratschings, the familial skiing area of Rosskopf with its reasonable prices and the homelike skiing area of Ladurns. The skier will be spoilt for choice.
The most marvellous winter landscapes as only nature can create will await you in the valleys of Ridnaun and Pfitsch and invite you to do cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking or relaxed dwelling. Even the inexpertly bobsleigh rider will cope with the descent on the longest toboggan run of South Tyrol (12 km) from Sterzing’s landmark mountain Rosskopf down to the valley. In the valley we will wait for you with a delicious nice-smelling cup of mulled wine and we will invite you to our in-house sauna area where you can revive your spirits.
